Cartographer's Peril
Welcome to Cartographer's Peril.
This is a punishing precision platformer about a mapmaker exploring dangerous terrain. There are no enemies here—the land itself is what fights you. To map out each section, you have to nail exact jumps up steep, rocky platforms and clear tight gaps lined with red spikes. The physics give you total air control, but if you misjudge a single jump, you fall and lose your progress.
The fun comes from that exact tension. It is about getting into a rhythm, mastering the tight jumps, and feeling the massive satisfaction of finally clearing a section that kept killing you.
Controls:
- Move: WASD or Arrow Keys
- Jump: Spacebar
Help Shape the Game (Prototype Feedback)
I need your feedback to make this game as rewarding and enjoyable as possible. Once you finish playing (or if you rage-quit!), please drop a comment letting me know:
- How the jumping physics and gravity feel to you.
- If any specific platforms felt completely unfair.
- If the levels are in the right order.
- If you actually had fun mastering the challenge.
